The game was called "One Way Ticket" and was a fishbowl-type, panfandom game. Kate bought a ticket to a country called Preya, and was unable to leave. She started her new life there, and met a bunch of people there that she knew from her own world, as well as many other words. She spent a year in Preya (the name of the country), before arriving straight to the Madonna Inn.

Kate's Network Activity
Kate's Threading Activity
Kate met Scott Lang there. In her world, he was the dead father of her dead best friend. In Preya, however, Cassie was alive, albeit quite a bit younger than Kate. Kate came to understand that Cassie and Scott were from an alternate universe from her own. She sent a message on the network to Scott asking if she could meet Cassie. Kate and Scott met in person to discuss it, amongst a flurry of sparks, and soon their relationship blossomed into more than friendship. A review of her relationship with Scott and Cassie can be found here
Proposed/Actual PB : Alison Brie
Physical Appearance: Kate's 5'5", with long, dark brown hair and blue eyes.
Powers and Special Abilities:
Kate is an Olympic level archer and swordsman.
She's terrible with computers.
She's very skilled with self-defense.
Kate has worked as a PI, so she's pretty good at puzzling out clues, and understands a lot about the human condition.
Application Questions
1. Three rooms from the Madonna Inn that you would want to live in and why. (Just as a quick note: When Scott and Cassie arrive, Kate will either move in with them, or will have them move in with her. A larger hotel suite would be preferrable.)
1. Crystal Room
2. Bridal Falls
3. Swiss Rock
2. Three items that are important to the character and why. Link to pics if you want to.
Bow and arrows because Kate never leaves home without them. They're in a duffel bag she keeps at all times.
Does Lucky Count? He's pretty much her dog.
Coffee Mug. It's her home away from home.
3. Name three roles you could fill in the hotel or community and explain why they're qualified. Be creative and think outside the box. You're trapped, so what does everyone need that you can do?
There are not a whole lot of jobs that Kate is trained for. She is super spunky and feisty, so that's a plus. She's also pretty fantastic when it comes to puzzling out mysteries, eating pizza, and drinking coffee. She could be some kind of half-Garfield, half-millenial PI?
Every Hotel needs a half-Garfield, half-millenial-PI, right?
4. What are your worst character flaws? Give an example of how each might play out in game. As this section takes the place of a traditional personality section, we're expecting several sentences on each flaw.
Stubborn - Even when she realizes later that she's wrong, Kate digs her heels in and refuses to budge. She
Conceited
Short-tempered
5. Will you go on adventures, and if so what will you do? Here, too. Don't just say yes or no. What kind of adventures are you interested in? Will you be an asset or a damsel in distress? Use this as an opportunity to tell us a bit about your character's attitude toward the new or unknown.
Kate thrives on adventure. A day without adventure is not a day worth living if you ask her. So she'd love to go on adventures and assert herself in the strange, new worlds. She's far from a damsel in distress--she wants to, or even needs to protect people and feel useful.
6. What are your passions? Name at least two, and tell us something about you with respect to them. Maybe tell us how you developed the passion, or where you last demonstrated it in canon. How will you indulge it in the in.
Archery
Feminism
Self-defense
Protecting people
7. Name three other people you want to interact with or three things you want to do. We're taking any existing canonmates for granted, so please tell us about other possible connections you wish to build.
